Returning to Blog Talk Radio!

Real Talk With Reko will be returning to Blog Talk Radio SOON! Yes I am coming back. People that I have interviewed in past shows, have asked when was I coming back, and I said something about missing blog talk radio on twitter yesterday and they expressed that they missed me also. So I think that it is time to get back on my internet radio grind, and have some fun.  I have to admit that I enjoyed doing the shows, talking about different topics, and laughing with co hosts and guests. Hopefully, this time it will be even more fun with the return of my co-hosts Ms SunShine, and MacGirl4Life, and other guest co-hosts. I hope to come back with some great shows, that everyone can listen to, relate to, and laugh with. I am also about to create another blog that will have much more on it, concerning this blog, other music programs that I support, and keeping the music of hip hop alive, as well as reviewing all genres of music. I have alot to talk about and catch up on, so I wanna thank any and everyone that has ever listened to my shows, and got something out of it including a laugh. I am ready to have some fun!!

Maybe changing Networks!

Well, I have ended my half a year ride with Blog Talk Radio.  Who knows I may return. I am currently debating on the switch of Internet networks in which to continue on with my show.  I am always looking for new and creative ideas for my show.  I definitely enjoyed interviewing, having co-hosts, playing some music, and mostly running my mouth...lol I am hoping that I will like the network change despite the issues that I had been having with the Internet period. The blog talk radio player will remain on this blog so that you can go back in the archives of the different shows and topics. I have had a ball with all the folks that I have met along the way, that called into my show, and participated with all the support.  I love all of you, and I hope to be returning with a better show, so keep your fingers crossed.  I will also keep this blog going with writings about different radio shows, artists, DJ's, and articles I support and are involved with.  I also am getting back interested in my writing, and will be releasing another blog full of passionate stories and writings.  So be on the look out for "Passion Fruits".  I will be rather busy in the up coming months with family, but hopefully finding the time to up-date my blogs.  STAY TUNED!

I Love My DJ's!

If you missed the show Wednesday night, you missed a treat. Me and Ms Sunshine talked about music and DJ'n, and what we enjoy about it. We got calls from DJ Chanin of Krupt Mob Radio, and DJ Dre' of Fierce Entertainment. So it was a wonderful show! I enjoyed it especially because it is a topic that is very near and dear to my heart. I am planning to probably do a Part II to this show because I realized that with my shout out, I still managed to leave out some key DJ's who have put it down over the years. I was so tickled that some of my DJ's paid a visit to my show. I truly enjoyed the conversation, and I am thankful that my co-host doesn't mind backing me up at all times. So cudos to Ms. Sunshine. My next show may be about the pending Valentine's day coming up! We shall see. I am not a big fan of Valentine's Day in fact it seems to be just another day for me, never celebrated it. Maybe I will buy myself something just because...lol I thank all the listeners of the show, and everyone that has supported my show thus far! I definitely enjoy doing it with my spare time! It's 2011' and I return to BTR!

2011' is here, and it is time that I return to my BTR show! What great way to start things off by talking about a topic that is nearest and dearest to my heart....MUSIC! The theme of the show will be "I Love My DJ's episode1. Which is something that I can talk about with much enthusiasm. So I am definitely looking forward to it, along with some mixes of some of my favorite DJ's. Joining me will be my Wednesday night co-host Ms. Sunshine, who will also talk with me about the music that she likes and her possible favorite DJ's. I am hoping to get a couple of my DJ friends on the show so that they can tell us what it is exactly that they do(which I already know), and what sets them apart from other DJ's. I am also putting together a HUGE shoutout list to all of the DJ's that I know and love, and what their blends and vibes do to me. I am hoping that this show will be most interesting. For The Love of Krupt Mob Radio Live!

It is not everyday that you run across a radio program that is so addictive that you wanna be down forever. Rockin' with OG Bumpy Knuckles aka Freddie Foxx, and his super lineup of shows is always my favorite times of the week. I remember OG asking one time how did I find Krupt Mob Radio, and it is funny that my senile behind don't remember how I got there, probably from a tweet, or whatever, but now I feel like I have a bond with the Mobsters. I am a certified music lover and hip hop is like my baby, and that is alot of what keeps me tied to KMR. Not to mention the great people behind it all including the other viewers. I have gained some good friends and have had my musical tastes appeased unlimitedly. When asked for me to write blogs as a viewer on the KMR site, I was honored and had no problem doing it, because it is something that I love to do. It be so cool, when I am left in musical awe time and time again, I find it easy to write about the elation I get from participating in the musical vibes and the undeniable "SWERVE". I think the best of 2010' though was when OG popped up and paid a visit to "Real Talk With Reko", and joked around with me and a fellow mobster MacGirl4Life. I giggled excessively, and that was because OG is the coolest, and he didn't have to call and show support, yet he did, and I was tickled beyond words. If you are a music lover, and love hip hop, then you certainly miss out, on what I come to know with KMR, as spending time with the Fam'. I am all for "music appreciation", and I definitely appreciate OG Bumpy Knuckles spending his time, talent, and his oh so hot exclusives with us mobsters. Alot of artists don't do that and that is what sets OG and KMR apart from the rest. One thing is for damn sure, I make sure that I am there for the fam', because they have shown love one too many times to me and for that I am grateful. So I am sooo looking forward to 2011', to witness some more greatness that I definitely want to be apart of. I'm telling you it will be something of EPIC proportions!!!

Are You alone for the holidays? & Good/Bad Christmas gifts! 12/22/10 Last show of 2010'

If you missed last night's show, you missed out on the fun! I was joined by my Wednesday night co-host Ms. Sunshine and we laughed and talked about ways to occupy your time if you happen to be alone for the holidays. We had Mr. Magic, one of my blog talk radio neighbors pop in and take us off topic for a sec, but it was definitely funny. I enjoyed also, talking about good/bad presents to give on Christmas. I made it no secret that I normally spend the holidays alone, and most of the time it hasn't been by choice, however, being the trooper that I am, I know how to deal with it. I hope that everyone has enjoyed the music, laughter, and interesting topics. Hopefully, the new year will bring in new music, more laughter, new guests to the show and more. Just think, I was thinking about quitting, and you should never quit something that you enjoy doing. It gives me something to do, and all laughter is healthy. I would love to thank everyone who has participated, and showed me some support, because it is all in fun, and that is also something that I like to do. How To Approach Someone that you are attracted to in these days & times 12/18/10

OMG! If you missed the show last night you missed something hilarious. I returned with my gracious co-host Ms. MacGirl4Life! We got into the topic of how to approach someone that you are attracted to, and the consequences of approaching someone in the wrong way. It was funny. The best part was when we got an unexpected call from OG Bumpy Knuckles aka Freddie Foxx, who joked around with us, and the laughter became non stop. I am glad that he got the opportunity to hear what we had been up to, and that I had this radio show that I have been doing in my spare time, because it is something that I like to do. I appreciate the support, and totally enjoyed the show. We also received a call from my sister and Wednesday night co-host, Ms. Sunshine who called in from a Christmas party with all of the girls in the background and it was some more hilarious fun, as they called me a "punk", and put me all on blast. I totally had a ball, and had an amazing night! Thanks to everyone who came through to show some love and support, and I will forever be grateful! GOOD SHOW!!
